Top Drawing & Coloring Apps on Android in South Africa, Q3 2024

In the third quarter of 2024, the Drawing & Coloring category on Android saw varied performances among the top five apps in South Africa, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Phone Case DIY by CrazyLabs LTD experienced fluctuations in its weekly metrics. The app's weekly downloads started with a significant 14.9K, dipped to around 3.2K mid-quarter, and surged to 21.5K by the end of September. Revenue peaked at $24 in early July, dropped to $6 for several weeks, and saw another rise to $15 at the end of the quarter. Active users mirrored download trends, initially at 40.6K, then decreased to 19.1K, before increasing to 53.7K by the end of the period.

Eye Color Mix, also from CrazyLabs LTD, saw a notable growth in weekly downloads, starting from 376 and reaching a high of 15.4K in mid-August, before tapering off to 3.8K by the end of September. The app maintained a consistent increase in active users, reaching a peak of 22.1K in late August.

Color ASMR: Painting Book from Zego Global Pte showed a steady increase in weekly downloads from 1.2K in late July to 9.3K by mid-September. The weekly active users also climbed steadily, starting at 50.4K and peaking at 71.8K towards the end of the quarter.

Car Coloring Pages ASMR, another app by Zego Global Pte, experienced a gradual rise in weekly downloads, from 814 in mid-July to a peak of 11.7K by mid-September. Active user numbers also increased, from 18.6K at the start of the quarter to 43.9K by mid-September.

Flag Painting Puzzle by Bravestars Publishing saw moderate download activity, with numbers fluctuating between 1.8K and 5.8K throughout the quarter. Active users started at 23K, peaked at 37.5K in late September, and ended the quarter at 33.4K.
